In 1979 The Schmuck & the Puerto Rican bought a couple of motorcycles.

Many years, miles, beers & a few bikes down the road from there, they were invited to form a motorcycle club chapter in Cookeville.   Good & loyal friends of many years signed on.  This group consisted of an ex-Marine, an ex-Luftwaffe, and a couple hippy mechanics.  This initial foray into the MC world didnt turn out very well and resulted in Puerto Rican having several intense conversations with an individual who's Name will not be mentioned here.  The result of those conversations & several meetings led to the formation of the RATTLERS MC in 2004 as a recognized motorcycle club.  That recognition allowed us to join and proudly support the Tennessee Confederation of Clubs.  As requested by the Unnamed individual noted above, we proudly wear Outlaws support patches and support them wherever and whenever we are able.  Our Patch was also registered in the State of Tennessee that same year.  The Patch is derived from one of the first flags flown by Colonials in their fight against tyranny and oppression, the Gadsden Flag.  The rattle snake symbol was painted on drums carried by the Marines who volunteered in October 1775.

We are not a riding club or association.  We are not a charitable organization.  We are not family oriented.

We are a motorcycle club.  Each member is dedicated to fostering and supporting the well being of the Club and the Members.

Not every one is capable of making the commitment necessary to be a RATTLER

If you think you have what it takes, look us up.  We're not hard to find.
